School is a wrap! This was Rory's "big" from 5th grade, Grant. He was  adorable. They had an end of the year glow party together. Silas got the "Most Likely to be Wearing Headphones" award from Ms. Hughes. Keep in mind they are never actually plugged into anything...just an accessory. We had a fun day seeing Merritt to kick off the first week of summer. We also vetted a field study for next year at Nature as Teacher in Camden. They took us around on a Cam-am and showed us all kinds of cool plants! I am also now very into identifying birds with the Merlin bird app! We can already check summer learning off our to do list!

 

After Texas we shipped Silas off to Camp Canaan. He had a rainy week, but I think he still had fun. Look at these dreamy pictures the camp posted! We still missed him, but this year was a lot less stressful. Did it help that Alex, his counselor, had a mustache? Possibly. He got the Mr. Clean award which is surprising until he tells you completing clean-up allowed you to go straight to canteen. Rory had swimming lessons, a visit to the marionette theater, and a sleepover with Meemaw and Gramps. Also, Elizabeth had backyard goats for a week!

 

 

We visited Lacy and Lizzy and all their animals! Rory was into them this visit!

 

We also had some much needed playdates with the Olivers and a surprise Privett sighting!
