May

 Yearly strawberry shot.

Silas's baseball team finished undefeated. What a talented group! We couldn't have asked for better coaching. The last game was pretty much the best day of his life. He came home with these two beasts of rings. One for winning the season and one for the tournament. He got his copy of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and I think something fun happened at school that I am now forgetting.

This was the little brother crew for the season.

The cousins moved to Batesburg, which isn't far enough to be too sad.

Art lessons from Marcia.

The neighbors also set up a fun night of dinner and wrestling at Pollywogs. And celebrated the boys' birthdays early with a pitching machine and hoodies.

Denise and I went to a cute place called The Plant House for Mother's Day. You get to make your own terrariums.

The highlight of my month (life) was Rory's kindergarten performance. We haven't had anything like this for either boy in all of their schooling and it was what dreams are made of. I feel like after Covid everything has come back a little lack luster and minimal but this had no hint of cutting corners. There was a glowing under the sea art show, everything was decorated to the nines, and the kids and teachers worked so hard to perfect the performance. Rory had a line and his teacher reserved our family seats on the front row. (Perks of bringing your kids to school with you!) He nailed it! Literally, it was Oceans of Fun. We celebrated with his fan club and ice cream after.
