Heat Wave

Weather has taken a turn for the best here, and by best I mean Snow Days!  It has come in all shapes and sizes over the last couple of days, big chunky flakes, small pebbly sleet, and cold freezing rain, but it has provided us with some lazy days at home as a family. Even Daron has been off!  We have had some fun developments too.  First, a tooth!  No more chewing on Mom's fingers.  That little dagger has some bite. Also, we are a big fan of clapping.  You need not even do anything impressive.  Just give some cheers and let the applause begin.  We have also been eating a lot better...like actually finishing servings of oatmeal and green beans.  There are definitely off feedings, but it is fun to scrape the bottom of the bowl for a change.  If this pace of new advances keeps up, he will be walking by Monday!

Made this video with my ample spare time.

5-6 Month Hodge Podge

New this month: Sitting up (on hard surfaces, for short stretches, tripod style), being a big fan of his toes, and giving (unintentional) pats on the back, which we love. It's nice to be recognized for one's work. He also started petting (violently grabbing) Louise, blowing raspberries (no qualifier needed), and eating somewhat successfully with a spoon!
