Mazel Tov

We took off for Georgia this past weekend to see the nuptials of some family.  Dinner on the road was fun.  The car seat will never be the same.  I love that my son only believes in double fisting his food.

The lodge was beautiful.  There were little streams, a waterfall, and fall was in full swing on the hills.  Silas enjoyed tromping about, never stopping for pictures.

We visited a unique tourist trap.  I kind of want goats on my roof.

It was our first Jewish wedding.  Daron now owns a yarmulke.  I think it had every wedding amenity known to man...hors d'oeuvres, open bar, delicious food, photo booth, live band, wedding themed coloring books for kids, bonfire/smores/blankets, sparklers, candy favors...  It was a good time.  It helped that GiGi was there to celebrate with.

Silas is equally thrilled by the scenery and dinosaurs.

My Fair Baby

Went to the fair!  Had in mind to take Silas on his first ride.  Probably bad parenting to even think it. Turns out there are no appropriate rides for a one-year-old.  Maybe next year.  Are two-year-olds 36 inches? I think it's sad that I am so over-eager to introduce my son to new things and then by the time they are actually age appropriate and he might enjoy them I will probably have to do it bemoaningly since I already dragged him there the prior year.  Being honest this year was already done bemoaningly by one gentleman member of our party.  We did have a good time at the petting zoo.  We also got a cow mask that Silas had fun destroying while being subjected to too many baked goods displays. Silas drank about a gallon of lemonade, we saw Gramp's watercolor, and we in general had a good time strolling about.  My pictures are black and white due to the yellow tent making everything a terrible hue.

Heard some real life cock-a-doodle doing!  I might as well call this an animal sound field study.

The Tuscan is his.  Who likes apples?

Tunnel of Love

Saw this gal in Charleston this month!  Note our wheels/hooves for the day in the background.  We are getting into the fall spirit around here.  Can't wait for Halloween!

Two new baby girls to love in our world!  I think I could get carried away with making these.
