I think this was the most spread out birthday this kid has ever had. We celebrated some in Disney, opened pre-birthday presents we thought we would be needing in Missouri, then we were going to have an early birthday party to catch the grandparents before their Alaskan travels, but had to postpone. We opened some more presents to make us feel better. Then on the actual birthday we had to keep reminding him of all the other things he had already gotten so he wouldn't think he was only loved a pair of sweatpants, some baseball shades, and a few books. Not that presents are love or the kid isn't spoiled out of his gourd already, but you know, a festive birthday air is nice. He opted for the archery range again this year and Wendy's and we ate Dominoes for dinner with Marcia's cake.
We did have the party a few days later and played Among Us with some good-sport family and friends. The cousins slept over and went to Surge. We had to kill an hour before it opened so we stopped in Goodwill. I sent them off on a scavenging contest. Pictured are their finds for things I was most likely to buy. (I bought none of them.)
