It was Christmas in July at Camp Bob-o! We were the first to arrive. We got to see my dad umpire. When the bleacher folk inquired who we were cheering for, they shouted "Blue's daughter's here!" but then assured us they liked him and gave only positive reviews. We went on a trail ride and Rory has added a horse to his Christmas (in December) list. The lake was a hit. Rory was a fearless back flipper off the dock and Silas tubed his heart out. We saw "David" at Sight and Sound theater. The three stages were pretty impressive. They made a good use of their snow feature even in the summer with the audience being washed whiter than. There was shopping with Shelly and Pizza Cellar with Doll-doll...Andy's 3 times. Aunt Jan came for the 4th. Silas ran at hearts and Dad told me he was pretty good at it. He does not give Hearts compliments freely. We got to meet Flannery. We approve. For our Christmas celebration, Uncle Trevor got Silas and had Rachel from Survivor do a Cameo. It was pretty amazing. My sister got me a whole set of vintage kids encyclopedias. Daron got discs from Trenton, and Rory got spy goggles from Uncle Nate. There was turkey and jerky and stockings and 2 sets of matching pajama shirts. Jane beat Dad at croquet and there was a lot of Secret Hitler. Hopefully my children's' take-aways will be family comradery and not the idea that it is appropriate to go around calling people fascists.
