CCH Reunion!

I spent the weekend back in my college stomping grounds at the Christian Campus House Reunion with these fine ladies.

I was a bit nervous for Friday night's BBQ as mingling is not my strong suit.  It really was a great time though.  I didn't feel forgotten and got to catch up with old buddies.  Our generation was well represented so there wasn't  a shortage of friendly faces.  I thought some of the hosts had practiced our names and stories, but it turns out they are just naturally that awesome at making us feel welcome.  Everyone looked exactly the same (if not better) than they did in college and seemed happy and fulfilled.  A testament to Jesus!  I can't say enough how grateful I am that this place and these people were part of my journey!

Saturday we walked around campus and downtown, went to The Flat Branch for lunch, and a little winery out of town for dinner.  We were late due to primping which made us arrive just in time for the torrential downpour thus negating the primping.  A hot tub follow-up did the trick to warm us up from our soggy supper.

(I have horrid posture.)

Sunday we had an old fashioned church on campus.  There were what may have been interpreted as three sermons, so no feeling shorted there.  I met up with Lisa and her baby, Jack, for lunch. (I am mad I forgot to take a picture!) A great way to cap off the weekend.
