Those first three beauties all came from the same glorious few days in StL visiting my pal Kristen. A butterfly garden and a wrestling match where I felt like I was in the male version of GLOW. Both were glorious in their own way.
My mom picked me up from there and we hit the road to Fayette to look in on Trevor and the CMU Eagles. (We saw one on the drive!) I had my first of two burgers and carried on to my and the future alma mater of Trenton. Guess where the second burger was from?!?!
Upon arriving home we took a short family vacation to Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium. (I needed something fun for them to report and carry as a dear memory since they spent the first two days of their spring break in daycare while I gallivanted.)
Rory is mad because the hotel we booked only for the purpose of swimming had an out of service pool and we had to walk three blocks in downtown Atlanta decked in our swim gear to another. (I only let the terrible mood that put me in ruin 1/3 of the trip.)
Here is the above and below of their giant tank. Pretty impressive. We also watched a dolphin show, sea lion show, and a 4D movie that terrified Rory.
We finished the week off with a Fireflies game that was rained out, but good for free hats, cousin time, and a nice dinner.
