June

Round Top end of the year parade.

Forever lining up toys.

Had a sleepover with Silas in our living room pillow pit. Spent the night talking about our favorite chapters in Sideways Stories from Wayside School. A keeper of a memory.

River walk

Father's Day shirts for Dad. Pickle pops.

Rory's Birthday

We had such a fun and chill time celebrating Rory's birthday. It might be my favorite party yet. If I didn't have to clean so much as a result of my recent sloth, it would have been perfect. I am not sure Rory ever really embraced that it was his birthday and he certainly can't hold up three fingers, but he is sure going to make a great three-year-old!

The weather is rarely accommodating for our celebrating but this year was like a miracle in that Sunday was hot enough for the water slide and Monday (actual birthday) was in the 60's for a day at the zoo. There was practically no one there and all the animals were out and frisky. Rory liked the crocodile. I love how God makes everyone think their kids are the best. I certainly do.

May

We finished school with a rather pathetic effort. Silas was a trooper the whole time, but math and ela was all that survived until the end. Here is our homemade ice cream and milk magic before we turned our back on science.

Some early birthday presents. The bike from mom and dad and the ring toss from Alan and Marcia.

Things are opening up and we are starting to get out more. Meemaw has outfitted us with a wardrobe of fashionable masks. Our first family reunion was a belated Easter egg hunt and celebration of Logan's birthday.

Lots of prayers for our buddy Lucas in the hospital and this month's winner for chat pics.

Life felt normal for one weekend where we escaped to Anderson.

We got a fish named Smashie.

Last day of school pictures. Silas is showing off all the work we were turning in to be thrown away.

Freedom quickly led to this...
